The Cleveland Police LGBT+ Staff Network are working towards equal opportunities in terms of improving the Policies, Procedures, Practices, Recruitment, Retention and Career Development of Cleveland Police employees, staff and partners to ensure that all LGBT+ employees of the organisation are supported and treated equally.
We are here to offer guidance, advice & support (confidential or not) in regards to the LGB&T issues at work, and to make each individual of the LGBT+ community within the police service, feel confident and comfortable at work.
Our network launched in 2015 and has recently refreshed with a new Chair and vice chair. We have a strong membership with numbers increasing frequently, including several straight ally’s.
